Bug Description

Ubuntu 14.04 with Logitech H340 USB headphones. When they are plugged in, the pointer controller decides that the LMB is being held. RMB, MMB, scroll, and pointer location all function across touchpad, USB mouse, and graphical tablet, but LMB does not. Running the 3.13.0-23-generic kernel.

The workaround
sudo rmmod usbhid && sudo modprobe usbhid quirks=<lsusb id>:0x04
does not work, instead all clicking functionality is lost when the headphones are plugged in.

Having the same issue with 14.04 and the Logitech H800 headset. Additionally the System UI seems to be affected as well (different font, applications look like decoration is missing or altered - chrome / eclipse).

A while after booting I am missing the mouse pointer on the screen while still being able to issue clicks and hover over elements.

Removing the USB dongle solves the problem on the next boot.

I am having the same issue. Ubuntu 14.04 with Plantronics D100 and Logitech wireless mouse. UI does not appear to be affected on my system, and removing USB receiver fixes the problem immediately.
