Bug Description

After starting Ubuntu (13.10), Dropbox icon is not in panel. I try to launch it manually, but ask me superuser password. I put in my administrator password but nothing happens. It works when I go to /home.../.dropbox-dist and click on file dropbox. Every time I start Ubuntu I need to do this. The problem is new, from 3 or 4 days ago.

Uh yeah this is because we're attempting to use a system-wide dropbox, and it's
not updating as often as Dropbox upstream would like. I've
disabled this feature in a newer upload of the package (1.6.2-2 I think). To fix this, do:

sudo apt-get install --reinstall nautilus-dropbox

The system-wide dropbox installation folder is /var/lib/dropbox/.dropbox-dist.
