Hello everybody

Thanks for all your input so far.
Hereby I reply some questions as good as I can right now.

A few minutes ago, I have done, so. You can see it elsewhere in this bug
report. See also the screenshots Bug10.png and Bug11.png.

Given the fact that various other contributions in this thread point in the
same direction, I seriously consider doing so next week: in case the feedback
that will come after this e-mail keep pointing at xorg as one of the factors
that needs to be taken into account.
For now, I provide you with various files that might be useful for debugging
purposes.

The file "Circle 27 October 11 evening.odt" is the LibreOffice Writer file
that has crashed at 0.30h. Central European Time. The file "Circle 27 October
11 evening3.odt" is a copy/ backup file that I have made at 0.26h., 4 minutes
before the crash. I have used that one to continue the work.

When the file crashed, the whole Kubuntu 11.04 system automatically restarted.
After booting in,I went to the crashed file via the Dolphin file manager. As
soon as I tried to open that file, the LibreOffice document recovery started:
see the file Bug.png. From every single step in this process, I provide you
with other screenshots: see Bug1.png until and including Bug9.png. As I told
already, I did not manage to get the document recovered.

After finishing this message, my weekend will start. Any other questions in
this thread I will answer next week.

Respectfully yours,

Bas Roufs.
