Hi Lukas, this backtrace looks more like a GPU lockup (note all the "*Wait*" calls). GPUs are pretty common to Intel graphics.
For these kinds of issues, reproduce the freeze and collect the following: debug/dri/ 0/i915_ error_state

* File bug as ubuntu-bug xorg
