Bug Description

just tried to install 11.04 (today's build) on free hdd-space from a USB while having 10.10 installed on a different partition.

the installation process aborted and got me into the live system where i clicked on the "Install Ubuntu 11.04" on the Desktop. shortly after this bug report started (but actually the setup process is running ....)

This looks somewhat similar to bug #705078 however the stacktrace differs a good bit. Could share a common underlying cause though.

Hmm, well even though the stack is a good bit different, it has the CompositeRect() call in common with 705078, and so especially with the similar timing of when the bug showed up, I'm going to go ahead and assume this is an instance of that bug.
