Bug Description

Xserver crashes when I suspend and resume an X41 laptop.
The symptom look similar to #61746, but I gett different xorg.log. I checked that all is okay, when I switch off echo -n mem > /sys/power/state from acpi sleep.sh script, so it is not acpi-support problem.
It could have been kernel problem, but I get no trace of the problem in dmesg.

Here is a fragment of a xorg.log file:

The xorg.conf was automatically generated by package upgrade script, except for the description of monitors.
The Monitor sections were generated from cat /proc/acpi/video/VID/{LCD0|CRT0}/EDID|parse-edid.

server 1.3, which we have in Gutsy:

Could you check against xserver 1.3, and let us know if the issue is resolved?

Changed in xorg-server:
importance: Undecided → Medium
status: Unconfirmed → Needs Info
