updating to the newest package 1.0.2 ubuntu10.3 makes the xserver unable to start

Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-core

im using ibm t40. the first reboot after the update totally messed up the xserver and a error said no screen found was displayed.

downgrading to the old package solved the problem.

I can confirm this bug: upgrading to xserver-xorg-core 1.0.2-0ubuntu10.3 and rebooting the system fails to start the xserver (no screens found). I tried to reinstall my drivers, but this fails. I didn't touch the xorg.conf. This seems a very severe bug to me...

System: Matrox P650 (dualhead) with the unofficial Matrox drivers that can be found on http://www.tux-home.at

Sorry, should of seen the link. Thanks Daniel for pointing me to that link. The problem is solved by an update of the system. I hope this bug didn't affect many users...
