Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg
I recently updated my 2 PCs running Karmic. Both machines use the same video card radeon X1900. Both machines started crashing X back to the login screen. On one machine I can no longer log in. I was able to stabilize the second machine by disabling desktop effects. This did n't seem to help the first machine.
How can I back out the Mesa 7.6 changes to know whether that change is the source of the regression?
