Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-core

Some days ago I got this wierd freeze on my system. It rins smoothly as always for a while and then just freezes and after a while again runs smoothly. I cant write without this thing happening, thats why I may misspell something now.

And when I try to watch a video file it goes crrazy with freezes. On top of that the Xorg process runs at over 70%.

Thats why I checked the Xorg log and found this:
[mi] mieqEnequeue: out-of-order valuator event; dropping.
[mi] EQ overflowing. The server is probably stuck in an infinite loop.

And it goes on forever!

It is kind of like this bug, but it happends the whole time! https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/259808

Steps to reproduce:

Latest (with all the latest updates as of right now) Ubuntu Lucid (Stable, 10.04).

1. start Firefox 3.6.3
2. open a second window (not tab!)
3. go to http://www.ardmediathek.de/ard/servlet/
4. Xorg hangs

in most cases, the X screen is then locked with the backtrace shown above.

Seems to be a Flash plugin concurrency issue in Firefox.

    npwrapper.libflashplayer.so
    Version: Shockwave Flash 10.1 r53

Because I have an Intel integrated chipset, this is probably not (only) an ATI specific issue.
