Bug Description
Binary package hint: xserver-
Fresh install of Ubuntu 7.10/Gutsy Gibbon.
X.org "intel" driver can't do 1600x1200 @ 60 Hz, monitor says "OUT OF RANGE". 1280x1024 works.
Added modeline for 1600x1200 manually, no improvement.
Changed driver to "i810" and it works (with modeline).
Packages:
- xorg, 7.2-5ubuntu13
- xserver-
- xserver-
Hardware:
- AOpen i915GMm-HFS motherboard.
- Intel 915 GM graphics (xorg.conf: Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller).
- LG 2010B LCD monitor.
Xorg.0.log files saved for both drivers.

Sounds like another modeline issue. Could you attach the output of `sudo ddcprobe` and `lspci -vvnn`?
