Whole session crashes after opening LibreOffice in 15.04

Bug Description

This bug was discussed in 1468664 with Christopher M. Penalver (penalvch) and it was suggested that a new one is filed.

[Impact]

Upon launching any part of the LibreOffice suite the whole session (not only GNOME, this was observed across DEs/Ubuntu flavours and other distros as well) crashes.

[Test case]

Tested with all *ubuntu flavours = crash.
Tested with Manjaro k3.16.7 = working.
Other distributions are mostly affected on the same hardware.
Issue has been observed from kernel 3.19+.

Previous versions of Ubuntu are not affected. Tested on 14.04.2 k3.16.* and working.
