crash when using xdmcp to login to a remote PC

Bug Description

I think this may be raised against the correct package.

I am having a crash when using xdmcp with lightdm when trying to log in to a remote PC over my network.

After running this command on a virtual terminal ...

X -query omega.mcs-home.com :4

i am getting this stack trace.

This has started happening after the most recent updates that i installed on 25/03/2015.
