Bug Description

When I run "xrandr --output LVDS1 --rotate inverted" while I am in the state "normal", it rotates only lower half of the screen (see attached screenshot). This is only the case from normal to inverted. All other combinations work as intended.

I use Ubuntu 14.10 with intel graphics card (Lenovo Twist S230u).

Just chiming in. Same problem on Yoga with intel graphics, running gnome3. I can invert the built in screen fine although when I have an external display plugged in as well. Also after inverting I get an extra mouse pointer pointing down right below the functioning pointer.

I made an extra bug for the inverted mouse pointer (please also confirm there):

But as you have the same problems, maybe these two bugs are related?

You use the Yoga which is quite similar to the Twist I am using. Maybe the bug has to do something with the drivers then?

I have this problem as well - new in 14.10 (which has been a bear to get the bugs irons out on my TP Yoga).
