Bug Description

Trying to switch between Intel to Nvidia graphics with that option in Nvidia Settings, using an Optimus Nvidia hardware. When I logout, I got a black screen, and restart the system with Ctrl+Alt+Del.

Great, now i can't switch to nvidia card anymore...

And there is no error mensage displayed in this pop-up window.

sudo prime-select nvidia
Error: alternatives are not set up properly
Error: nvidia mode can't be enabled

So i tried:

sudo prime-switch
sudo prime-select nvidia
sudo prime-offload
sudo prime-select nvidia
sudo prime-offload

in this sequence, logout, get a black screen, restart and got this new report bug.

It happens in kernel 3.13 and 3.14

please try to enable the nvidia driver and attach your /var/log/gpu-manager.log

Same problem with Intel video and Mesa Driver.
