Bug Description

Trying to use my hybrid AMD/intel I did :

sudo apt-get install fglrx fglrx-pxpress

Outcome : total freeze @ appearance of desktop.

My config on Trusty :
:~$ lspci | grep VGA
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09)
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Thames [Radeon HD 7500M/7600M Series]

After a purge, I'm back on workable environment only using the intel graphic.

At this stage, the hybrid graphics support noted here : https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Config/HybridGraphics doesn't work on trusty

Any trial to install fglrx provides the same crash : total freeze of the desktop.
Only way to get out : root + chroot & purge of fglrx. I had the same problem with 13.10 - 14.04 provides no cure.
