Bug Description

Locking the screen (Ctrl+Alt+L) only blanks one monitor. Strangely, which monitor gets blackened seems to be almost random. Maybe it depends on whether you use the key combo or it times out?

summary: - [multimonitor] Locking the screen (Ctrl+Alt+L) only blanks one (randrom)

XMir 1.0 (the old Xorg extension) is now deprecated and is not being maintained or fixed. It is replaced by the new 'Xmir' binary (package 'xmir') introduced in Ubuntu 15.10 wily.

Changed in xorg-server (Ubuntu):
status: Triaged → Won't Fix
