Bug Description

I was using SyncTerm Telnet, the connection froze, and XOrg fault window popped up. I was told that a simple reinstallation of Kubuntu would fix this problem. Am I correct?

I've read the bug report, and I'm not sure that it applies to my error.
It says it is most likely due to a faulty install of an Aetheros network
card. Mine is a broadcomm model, specifically a Dell 1390. Am I wrong?
