Binary package hint: xmodmap
After plug in a keyboard the custom xmodmap config that is already loaded does not work for that keyboard, it has to be reloaded again.
Same solution i got for my "only-numpad" keyboard, after pluging it in, it does not work at all and have to reload the config.
The modified keys are some of the numpad keys, but absolutely no key is working.
.Xmodmap:
keycode 79 = XF86Launch7 KP_7
keycode 80 = XF86Launch8 KP_8
keycode 81 = XF86Launch9 KP_9
keycode 82 = XF86AudioLowerVolume KP_Subtract XF86_Prev_VMode
keycode 83 = XF86AudioPrev KP_4
keycode 84 = XF86LaunchB KP_5
keycode 85 = XF86AudioNext KP_6
keycode 86 = XF86AudioRaiseVolume KP_Add XF86_Next_VMode
keycode 87 = XF86LaunchA KP_1
keycode 88 = XF86Launch2 KP_2
keycode 89 = XF86Launch3 KP_3
