Bug Description
Binary package hint: xmms2tray
It looks like some of the code was taken from an older version of xmms2tray (see patch that fixes notifications).
There are also other issues that probably stem from the same version-mix botch (e.g. the launch gxmms2/abraca/etc. menu items appear but do nothing)

Could you generate a unified diff instead? (diff -u origfile newfile). This patch doesn't look like it can be applied easily. Thanks.
