xmlgraphics-commons 2.0.1-2 has been packaged in Debian and is a required dependency for the latest version of batik and fop.
I intially ran into this because I tried to sync the latest version of fop because it carried an Ubuntu delta which was no longer needed. Unfortunately it failed to build (see bug ) due to among this package being out of date. This would help, though not fix all for fop.
I've prepared a debdiff for this now, but I have to admit I'm not familiar with this package so I don't know the impact of going from 1.x to 2.x will have for reverse dependencies. Therefore I don't know how we want to handle this going forward. :)
I'll link to my PPA once the package has built. |
