Bug Description
Binary package hint: xkeyboard-config
This occurred upon upgrading to 9.04. Keys got re-mapped, up arrow key is delete, delete got re-mapped to print screen.
Package manager reports xkb-data to be "broken" apon trying to fix, it fails with this error.
E: /var/cache/
That directory is not read-only, and I can remove or add files to it, except the "olpc" file. Even as root I cannot change that file in any way.

Although you cannot move or delete the ./usr/share/ X11/xkb/ symbols/ olpc file. I was able to restore the functionality of my keyboard keys by coping the entire symbols folder someplace else, then coping all the files except the olpc one back.
