keys' hyphema and equal 'does not work in KDE4, but work in normal text mode (alt + f2).

Err, I have no idea what this is but I don't think it can be an installer bug ... please attach /etc/default/ console- setup and /etc/X11/xorg.conf. Also, what's "hyphema" - do you mean "hyphen"?
