I can confirm this in Ubuntu 12.10 and xiphos version 3.1.5-webkit.

On the other hand, it is possible to resize the left panel to be wider. Then, however, it takes valuable space on my small screen (1024x768).

Is this issue still present in the very newest Xiphos release of 2020?
