Bug Description
I have a disturbing bug. My touchpad left click (tapping and mechanical) stops working sometimes. It seems to be linked to click and drag and/or right click. Login out and back in solve the problem. I have control of the left click again (although mechanical click sometime don't work back).
Usualy, it don't work when I start the computer. I log on the invited profile then back in mine. And it work for a while.
My laptop is a MSI CR70 2M - french keyboard. The touchpad is detected as an Elantech touchpad.
My system is Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS
I have some log file: evtest- xev - xinput - xmodmap - Xorg.log (I have followed https:/
evtest : paste.ubuntu.
xev : paste.ubuntu.
xinput : paste.ubuntu.
xmodmap : paste.ubuntu.
Xorg.log : paste.ubuntu.
I can provide anymore information you may need.
Thank you a lot for the job done for Ubuntu.
Regards,
Yodhur

Hello,
I had a kernel upgrade yesterday and now, the touchpad is not working. I have no click at all. Nor left or right. The problem seems linked to the kernel for me but I don't know. Should I update this bug report or fill in a new report bug connected to the new kernel?
What is your advise?
(I am not currently on the incriminated computer, I can provide informations as soon as I get back to it).
Thank you.
