Bug Description

Binary package hint: amarok

Rebooted after dist-upgrade with kernel version 2.6.31-12.

Amarok did *not* work before this upgrade, before it resulted in a dbus error.

I have removed all amarok data from my home directory (i.e. files or directories with amarok in the name, have not checked for files containing the string amarok. Including ~/.kde files & directories) to ensure clean startup. No new files or directories have been created since (checked with find ~/ -name "*amarok*" -a ! -name "*.png") assuming png icons surely can not be the problem?

Upon first start (from the menu) i now get the bug report app (before the last upgrade the system was busy when trying to start but it did not report any errors) starting from the command line after this error reproduces the dbus error:

<unknown program name>(3619)/: Communication problem with "amarok" , it probably crashed.
Error message was: "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply" : " "Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)" "

These problems have started with the upgrade to Amarok 2.2.0. In my opinion the problem is related to that upgrade, not the upgrades i installed afterwards.

I assume all necessary information is included by the bug reporting app?
