Bug Description
Hi,
I've a small Acer desktop (but with notebook ingredients) and a
01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RS690 [Radeon X1200 Series]
video controller. Ubuntu 8.04 in general works, I had to use the 2.6.27 kernel from intrepid
to solve USB issues.
When I try to use xine to watch video on the screen I get this error message:
This is xine (X11 gui) - a free video player v0.99.6cvs.

A case of old drivers. Searching the message "unknown chip id 0x791e, can't guess.", gives similar bug reports from around the same time that are all solved by updating to the latest drivers. Closing.
