Amarok can't handle internet playlists with funky urls

Bug #120732 reported by Robert Persson on 2007-06-16
Affects Status Importance Assigned to Milestone
xine-lib (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

Binary package hint: amarok

I was able to click on the link to on the page within Firefox and have Amarok play the stream successfully.

However there seems to be no way to get Amarok either to deal with this url by itself, or to work with a locally downloaded copy of the playlist, even with the correct .pls extension.

Amarok needs to be able to handle funky php urls like this.
