I did the upgrade more than a month ago and this xfwm4 issue just happened twice in the last two says.
Besides, I don't think I actually need to remove all those files. The great majority of them have nothing to do with the issue.
(I suppose it would rather be an "rm -r".)
I'll keep it as it is until it happens again so that I can provide the ~/.xsession-errors
