Bug Description
This seems to have been automatically generated at login by apport. I use lxde on an older hp computer (pavillion 230a). I have been having problems with frequent random crashes. Possibly this may have something to do with that, though this is the first time I have had anything reported.
I am uncertain whether this is a bug.
Here is my release:
Description: Ubuntu 11.10
Release: 11.10
Here is the package version:
xfstt:
Installed: 1.8-2
Candidate: 1.8-2
Version table:
*** 1.8-2 0
500 http://
100 /var/lib/
I have run the memory test (with both sticks installed), but had no errors. When my computer locks up I am not able to use any keyboard combinations including alt+SysRq+ anything. I have to restart the computer with a "hard" restart. Also, I notice that the vast majority of the time my mouse simply goes to black, while the screen displays the last visaul. I have had these crashes both when using lxde, and at times when I am only using one of the tty terminals. Again, I am not sure that this report has anything to do with the crashes I have been experiencing.
