Bug Description
When I tried an upgrade to 16.04 some of the fonts are not displayed any more. I am using GNome and cannot remember of setting some special fonts to be used. The attached picture shows how the applications look like after the upgrade to 16.04 from 15.10.

I don't know which package causes this problem, so I attached it to xfonts-base.
