Binary package hint: xfmedia

Hello,

The version of xfmedia issued with the 9.04 release of Ubuntu dies with a segmentation fault on launch.

I can confirm this on Xubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackelope.

Thanks for helping improve Xubuntu and Xfce. This has been reported to the upstream developers. Unfortunately, there probably won't be a quick fix for this, as indicated by the developers at Xfce:

Running xfmedia as root doesn't cause segmentation fault. I had exactly the same problem when i updated from hardy to intrepid.

confirmed on my system also, follows is the cli output:
