This video is works under FireFox.
I download it.
I try xfce4-mixer.
-> no sound in Media Player
-> no sound in VLC
-> no video and no sound in xfmedia -> crash

(I don't know why my Intel HDA sound is come back.)
the 2nd crash, under xfce while listening smoothjazz.ram under vlc.
I have a mounted video dvd and I launch xfmedia. The start window painting not finished.

the xfmedia never starts for me (not from gnome, not from xfce)
(I try last with 2.6.28-9-generic kernel)

update: the xfmedia cannot start in a sun xvm virtualbox machine

xfmedia 0.9.2-6ubuntu2 starts only with normal or extra visual effects for me

I also got this bug report on gnome in ubuntu 9.04 jaunty. I still couldn't run xfmedia on gnome.

Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation. Since this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work, I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here.

Unfortunately, xfmedia is unmaintained upstream at this time, for lack of developers.
