Bug Description
xfig 3.2 (patchlevel 5b) crashes whenever I try to insert a string that contains a space. The program crashes repeatedly just after hitting space, no matter what I did before in the program. the crash tears down the entire active x session.
I am using xfig 1:3.2.5b-2ubuntu1 from the ubuntu 12.4 universe repository.

trying to open the attached file repeatedly causes the described phenomenon on my installation. what further information can I provide to help identifying the problem?
