Bug Description
No matter what font I select xfig is not able to recognize it. I believe it is an installation bug...

I had a similar problem on Ubuntu 14 in GNOME . Only the standard font size 12 was accepted. However, after export in eps the size was correct. The solution is: change the deasktop environment to Xfce.
