Bug Description

Before anything, I have to admit I have no coding experience, so this might be difficult/ impossible to implement.

It would be great to have the option of using Whiskermenu as a right-click desktop menu instead of the default XFCE one. As is, XFCE's default right click menu is quickly becoming outdated, and even the more minimalistic ones among us (the ones who don't want a panel) might want a more feature-rich desktop menu than the tree-style one. =)

This feature request should target xfdesktop4 which currently draws a hardcoded application menu similar to the xfce4-panel plugin one.

I am not sure if this should be realized. The priority would be very low.

People who do not want the panel will have to run it anyway, because it is required by whiskermenu which is a panel plugin. Furthermore, the menu can be easily triggered via a keyboard shortcut if needed.
