Binary package hint: xfdesktop4
When I select/deselect the icons that I want to appear on my desktop in Xfce 4 Desktop Settings (xfce-setting-show), the changes are not instantaneous, which is what I expect them to be. I need to log out and back in for the settings to take effect. I'm guessing this bug is in xfdesktop4, because that is what controls xfce's desktop. This seems counter-intuitive. In gnome, selecting the icons that I want to appear on the desktop (via gconf) has an instantaneous effect. |
