After installing Xubuntu 11.04 and installing my commonly used programs (LibreOffice and skype)the windows have no upper margin. (I can close them, minimize them, and they don' appear in the panel) Moreover, I cannot switch between windows, and opening a new one just blocks the one behind it.
This is happening with ALL programs, even after doing an update of all system files, and rebooting. |

(I can't close them, minimize them, and they don't appear in the panel as running programs.) Moreover, I cannot switch between windows, and opening a new one just blocks the one behind it.
This is happening with ALL programs, even after doing an update of all system files, and rebooting.
The workspaces are unavailable (ctrl+alt+left, right, up or down change nothing in my view)
the Dock is hidden by the "windows".
Note, I am capable of moving the Firefox 4 window around a little bit. |
