Bug Description

The stock Xfce in ubuntu ( installed by : apt-get install xfce4 xfce4-goodies) does not have a default GTK3 theme.
Gtk 3 applications look ugly after default install ( See attachment : Rhythmbox_without_gtk3_theme.png )

Users are working around this currently manually adding a theme like this [1]:
$ cp -fdr /usr/share/themes/Radiance/gtk-3.0 ~/.config/gtk-3.0/

It would be nice if we can do this by default when a user installs Xfce so that immediately he or she gets applications that look like attachement Rhythmbox_with_gtk3_theme.png

There's gtk3-engines-xfce in quantal (it has probably some issues with the latest gtk version though).

affects: xfce4-goodies (Ubuntu) → xfce4 (Ubuntu)
Changed in xfce4 (Ubuntu):
importance: Undecided → Wishlist
status: New → Confirmed

The package xfce4 could recommend gtk3-engines-xfce or shimmer-themes (bug 1322305).
