Mouse over flakey on top and left screen edges

For some reason the whiskers menu's icon can be missed by the mouse when the mouse is on the top and/or left edge of the screen, this does not happen on the bottom or right edge of the screen

So if you quickly go to click the menu you may not click the icon cause you are on the edge of the screen

Using `xdotool getmouselocation --shell` to I was able to get the mouse location showing the same coordinates for both hover states
Furthermore using xdotool to set the mouse location I am UNable to reproduce the issue:

It is almost seems like the mouse gets into a floating location between 0 and -1, but I would think something like that would affect any applet...

I have only been able to get this to happen using the xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin

I can recreate this with many plugins on the top panel, not just Whisker Menu. Just mousing back and forth across the very top edge of the panel button eventually causes this with the pulse audio plugin and the notifications plugin.

Yep the Indicator Plugin is also affected, I was able to reproduced on 14.04.5
