scrollbox texts shadows doesnt rotate when the plugin is used on vertical panels

Bug Description
The weather plugin shows a shadow of the text thats being prompted in the scrollbox, how ever if you use the plugin in a vertical panel the text for the shadow doesnt correctly rotate to the front text.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Add a weather update plugin to a vertical panel.
Thats it.
Tested on xubuntu 13.04 and 13.10.

This is a bug in your gtk2 engine (I assume murrine, as it's one of the most wide-spread) and has nothing to do with the plugin itself.
If it's murrine, then that's unfortunate cause it hasn't been maintained for a while (at least that's all I know), so there's nowhere to report bugs against it for real...
