Bug Description
Binary package hint: xfce4-terminal
In Xubuntu 10.10 RC (amd64) the result of running xfce4-terminal:
sune@xubuntu64:~$ echo $TERM
dumb
sune@xubuntu64:~$ nano
Error opening terminal: unknown.
sune@xubuntu64:~$ export TERM=vt100
sune@xubuntu64:~$ nano
...
I added "export TERM=vt100" to .profile to permanently solve this, but i guess many users would be lost here.
