xfce terminal does not appear in the Gnome preferred applications list for terminal emulator

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. login to Gnome session
2. System -> Preferences -> Preferred Applications

What is the expected output?
xfce terminal on the list of preferred terminal emulators.

What do you see instead?
xfce terminal is not on the list of preferred terminal emulators.

The xfce terminal packager can use these instructions to create the files needed to tell gnome-control-center about xfce terminal.
