Bug Description

Binary package hint: xfce4-settings

due to recent backports from gtk3 to allow/show a resize handle/grip in every window, xfce4-settings (and its subdialogs such as appearance settings) now has one too.

the main problem with this is that in every dialog it (partially) overlays the close-button.

I don't want to assign everything to cody without asking him, so I'll wait for his answer on Bug #709279 first.

Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation. Since this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work, I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here.

The visibility is somewhat theme dependent, but the symbol is still in the lower right corner.

Thanks for taking the time to make Ubuntu better!

Setting back to incomplete, it doesn't hide the "close" button here...

Examining the resize-grip using "high-contrast" theme set in Appearance, the resize-grip covers the bottom-left corner of the close button, but does not interfere with reading the word in the box, and does not interfere with use of the button. I am closing this bug because the resize-grip does not interfere with the use of the close button.
