Bug Description
Pressing FN + Left (dim screen hot key) dims the screen but also launches Display settings winow.
FN + Right correctly brightens the screen without launching Display settings.
Acer AspireOne 725, running Xubuntu 14.04 Beta 1 & 2.

I resolved this by going to the following:
Settings -> Keyboard -> Application Shortcuts
then removing the two shortcuts for:
xfce-display-
This big can be closed.
