Xfce Shutdown/Restart doesn't work (logout instead)

1. Boot from Live CD
2. From the session icon on the top panel select "Shutdown" or "Restart"

Result:
It executes a logout instead

I have this problem as well.

There is a belief that going to xfce 4.8.2 will solve this.

I haven't done this, I am waiting for it to become availble in the repos.

I have xfce 4.8.0 installed on 3 ubuntu machines, and they all have this problem.
