Bug Description

I am using the rolling release of Xubuntu and I have discovered that when I lock the screen with a terminal emulator and close the lid the screen becomes unlocked and allows me to type in commands into the terminal even when locked. I am using a usb keyboard.

Another observation worth mentioning...
When I open the lid the unlocked screen quickly flashes on the screen before quickly locking again.
