Bug Description

Binary package hint: xfce4-power-manager

HAL is no longer maintained and is in the process of being deprecated by the DeviceKit stack. Please update xfce4-power-manager to remove its dependency on HAL.

The upstream author reports that this effort is underway.

[15:42] <aliov> no, the devkit-power branch is almost ready, but devkit-power isn't, probably you know they are going to re-name the project to upower udisks, so that's why i'm waiting to release anything from that branch.

Please, there is no bug to confirm here. This bug report was filed to track the upstream migration of xfce4-power-manager to devicekit. This is unlikely to happen for lucid anyway, as explained in the first comment.

So if you experience a bug with xfce4-power-manager, please file a separate bug report, thanks.
