Bug Description

After installing Xubuntu Cosmic, the power manager plugin now detects my laptop as a standard computer. The power manager settings shows that I am connected via line power and that I have a battery. The icon is displayed as a battery with an X on it.

After unplugging my power, the icon has been updated to the full battery icon and the computer is marked as discharging. Line power now shows disconnected.

Finally, after plugging my power cord back in, the icon is still the full battery icon, the computer is still reported as discharging, and line power shows connected.

Moments later, the icon has reverted to the "X" icon, the tooltip says "Computer", and it is no longer reported to be discharging.

I get normal Icons back, but I do not know the context.

In /etc/UPower/UPower.conf I changes IgnoreLid=false to IgnoreLid=true

sudo systemctl restart upower
Then my Icons are back.
