Bug Description

I happened to notice that panel-7-pulseau is using 7.2G resident after extended uptime. Possibly as much as 130 days, since it's the uptime of the machine. It's not misbehaving in any other way that I can see, but on a machine with less RAM it would have been irritating.

There is no reason to restart right now, so the process will probably be around for a few weeks if someone wants me to prod it.
