Notes open on wrong screen

I've configured so I have extended desktop with arandr,
but Notes always open on the extended monitor when xubuntu starts, instead of the main one.
i'm guessing my extended monitor might be my primary, but no other application seems to have this problem.
now i use xpad instead, but it'd be nicer to use the already installed and xfce native notes.

Having this problem with Raring as well. New windows that spawn from another window are constantly opening on the opposite monitor when I need them to open on the same monitor as the original window so I'm constantly having to move them. There should be a setting where one could simply force the system to open new windows on the monitor of choice.

Or even better, have the new window open where the last window closed for the same application.

I would also venture to say that this bug should be against one of the xfce windowing packages, not xfce4-notes-plugin. It happens to me with Google Chrome.

Can you reproduce this issue in Xubuntu 14.04 or 14.10?
